Just in, what I believe is the debut album from Zara McFarlane, Until Tomorrow, coming at you via Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings.   A stunning debut from a singer that if things go right, will have a long history and many stories to tell about her life and travels here and there with her music.  The album starts with piano notes delicately performing a hypnotic loop and her voice sings of the qualities of her lovers other among other things.   The voice penetrates while floating among the toppest quality of bad-assed musicians.  Damn, they have the goods.  This is real soul music, personal. Just want to hug her so, and say Thank you.

Until Tomorrow released Oct. 17th
